fabulous piece Tom. Been a BC fan for nearly 40 years and must have seen a good few hundred bands over the years. None have EVER bettered BC in full flight. Tragic he died so young and his song writing was getting better and better. Shattered cross from his last recorded work is the best Johnny Cash song that’s not by Johnny Cash. He is still sorely missed. You mentioned Kirsten but his son also was in a fabulous band called AHAB, make sure you find the right one as there is a death metal band of the same name. There is stuff on YouTube “lucy” and “call a waiter” are fab.
